Is PrivaSend HIPAA compliant?
PrivaSend is designed with HIPAA Safe Harbor de-identification principles. We never store raw PHI. Sessions auto-delete after 24 hours. We are not a covered entity — we operate as a Business Associate and BAAs are available for Team plan customers.
Do you store my patient documents?
No. Documents are processed in-memory and never written to permanent storage. Your session — including all uploaded files and chat history — is automatically deleted after 24 hours. We only log anonymized metadata (scan counts, timestamps) for product improvement.
What AI models can I use?
PrivaSend works with OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic (Claude), and Google (Gemini). You select your preferred model at scan time. We handle the API call — no API key required from you.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No contracts, no commitments. Cancel from your account settings at any time. If you cancel a paid plan, you keep access until the end of your billing period.
